Photo Credit: Splash NewsNovember 17, 2008, (Sawf News) - A hacker broke into the The Miley And Mandy Show YouTube account and posted a video on Sunday, November 16, impersonating show co-host Mandy Jiroux, announcing that Miley Cyrus died Sunday morning after being hit by a drunk driver.
The two minute long video displayed a message with the following text with the single Goodbye, from Miley's new album Breakout.
"Hey guys, this is Mandy and I have some very sad news :( ...We're very hurt to tell everyone this, but Miley died this morning after being hit by a drunk driver. Miley told us if anything ever happened to her, then we should let her fans know before the public...R.I.P. honey, we will miss you so much."
Explaining the hoax, Mandy says on her official Myspace page: "some1 hacked the miley and mandy youtube account and we cant [sic] get back into it just yet!! MILEY IS OK!!"
The video has since been removed from the 'The Miley And Mandy Show' account and presumable, the account has been restored to Miley and Mandy.
