June 25, 2008 (Sawf News) - Charlize Theorn's black sheath Narciso Rodriguez dress with a deep neckline and criss-cross back straps inspired some playful banter when the South African actress appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, Tuesday, June 24, 2008, to promote her recently released film Hancock.
The dress, and Charlize, drew some sustained and profuse appreciation from show host David.
"You look fantastic, beautiful, just gorgeous," said David.
"It was worth coming here you make me feel so good," responded Charlize.
David then asked her what she planned to do during summer: work, travel, go on trips?

"I think I am just going to stay in this dress all summer," Charlize teased. "Well you have made me feel so gorgeous in it now."
"You are. I am telling you something. You put that dress on somebody else it will be ok but on you: Fireworks! Absolute fireworks!" David said.
Hancock is a superhero comedy film starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron.
Smith plays the title role of a down-and-out alcoholic superhero, who is despised by the public. Hancock is invulnerable to bullets, possesses superhuman strength, and can fly at supersonic speeds. Bateman plays Ray Embrey, a PR executive who helps rehabilitate Hancock, after the superhero saves his life. Theron plays Mary Embrey, Ray's wife with whom Hancock enters into a questionable relationship.

The film's world premiere was held at the 30th Moscow International Film Festival on June 16, 2008.
Theron, 32, became a US citizen, something she had longed to be, in May 2007. She stays in Los Angles with her long-time boyfriend Stuart Townsend, 35, an Irish actor with whom she has co-starred in several films. The couple will not wed until gay marriage is legal in the U.S.
